Consumer Health Marketing Lead Korea 

[Major tasks and responsibilities of position]

• Lead the Marketing team and be responsible for the sales and profit development incl. market share development
  
  
• Develop category and brand strategy; aligned with Global and translate it into actionable plans
  
  
• Build insight from global category trends and local consumer needs; develop innovation pipeline (5-year horizon) for portfolio expansion, including delivery of NPD to meet growth expectations.
  
  
• Accelerate Digital Transformation for Consumer-focused marketing investment - leveraging Consumer Shopping Journey and consumer relevant touchpoints to optimize target user’s “Catch-Connect-Convert” journey and ensure Digital & eCom integration
  
  
• Develop a short to mid-term activation strategy
  
  
• Ensure operational execution of category and brand plans.
  
  
• Evaluate brand performance versus targets and highlight major deviations (incl. competitor tracking) and control P&I budget and team effectiveness.
  
  
• Monitor marketing activities & performance such as brand planning, pricing, promotions, merchandising, buying, and stock management.  Deliver full category frameworks, guidelines and best-practices and collaborate with commercial teams. 
  
  
• Active contributor to the Korea Consumer Health Leadership Team. 

[Qualifications]

• Bachelor degree or above, Marketing or Business related major preferred.
  
  
• 10 years working experience in Consumer Health or Consumer Packaged Goods industry in marketing, at least 3 years’ experience in managerial positions (preferably with exposure in OTC, Functional Food, and Cosmetics industry) 
  
  
• Good customer insight including understanding of customer needs and behaviors.
  
  
• Be able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders. 
  
  
• Strong strategic thinking, independent and result oriented.
  
  
• Excellent negotiation skill and inter-personal skill.
  
  
• Good leadership skills to motivate team, internal and external partners to achieve category and brand objectives. 
  
  
• Timely, effective and proactive response to problems and issues.
  
  
• Self-motivated and act as a good team player.
  
  
• Good command of spoken and written English.
