Communications Manager (13Months)

[Job Description]

- Responsible for development and implementation of communication strategies that drive the PH business objectives and reinforce Bayer's reputation

- Identify and maintain working relationships with key journalist and act as a first point of contact and spokesperson for local media enquires

- Work with the team and its agency partners to develop and execute media activities including publicity, press event etc

- Protect the reputation of Bayer and its brands through effective issue management

- As needed, help support other external programs and initiatives

[Qualifications / Requirement]

- 5+ years of working experience related communications in relation to e.g. pharmaceuticals, PR industry

- Fluency in both English and Korean is a must

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Genuine interest in media relations, social media and commitment to staying current on healthcare news

- Strong interpersonal skills & relationship-builder including media relationships

- Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure with minimal supervision

- Team player - both with internal colleagues and PR agency partners

- A high level of initiative, a strong work ethic, creativity and ability to balance multiple assignments

- A university degree in a relevant field of study such as communications, journalism preferred
